This policy explains how Herd handles personal data when you visit jointheherd.se, apply to the program, or contact us.
Who is responsible

What we collect
Details you send us yourself: name, email, phone, links, and what you write in the application form or a message. Technical data your browser sends: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and time of visit.
How we use it
To review applications, to answer you, to run and improve the site, and to keep it secure. We do not sell personal data.
Legal basis
Steps taken at your request before entering an agreement, our legitimate interest in running and improving the site and in reviewing applications, your consent for analytics and marketing cookies, and legal obligations such as accounting.
How long we keep it
Applications are kept for up to 24 months after the selection round. Messages are kept for up to 24 months. Technical logs are kept for a short period, normally up to 12 months.
Services we use
Website hosting and delivery, the form provider used for applications, email, and, with your consent, analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under written agreements.
Transfers outside the EU
Some providers may process data outside the EU or EEA. When that happens, transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and access is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect, but we work to keep the risk low.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
